Re-art

My thought process started while preparing small bags with colorful cloth pieces .I was thinking about history of art. One thing that struck me was, though Indian artists from 1920 to 1940 were influenced by Western forms in art, but at the same time were searching for or thinking about Indian identity too. Especially ‘Santhal family’ by Ramkinkar Baij held my attention.

Up till now many people migrate from villages for many reasons, and for some it is a ‘necessity’. May be everyone who leaves for a new place carry new hopes and colorful dreams with them………
